ISO 14001 certification process
1. Information meeting and pre-audit (optional): As a first step, we conduct an informational meeting, either by telephone or in person, to discuss your project and prepare you for certification. We will also review relevant documents. Optionally, a pre-audit can be carried out to assess the current status of your management system.
2. On-site certification / Remote-certification: Our auditors visit your company to carry out a readiness analysis. The description of the management system is assessed, documented processes are checked and, if necessary, the implementation of corrective measures is reviewed in a follow-up audit.
3. Audit report and evaluation: Once the audit has been completed, we prepare documentation and evaluate your management system.
4. Certificate: If certification is successful, you will receive your certificate, which is valid for up to three years.
5. Surveillance audit: During the term of the certificate, we carry out regular surveillance audits to ensure the continued conformity of your management system.
6. Recertification: regular review for long-term security

ISO 14001:2015 is based on the standardised ‘High Level Structure’ (HLS), which allows it to be seamlessly combined with other management system standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 45001. This helps to recognise environmental opportunities, assess risks and implement targeted measures.
