IATF 16949 certification process
Information Meeting and Pre-Audit (Optional): We start with an initial consultation to discuss your project and prepare you for certification. If desired, a pre-audit can assess the current status of your quality management system.
On-Site Certification Audit: Our auditors visit your company to conduct a readiness analysis. They evaluate the management system description, verify documented processes, and, if necessary, assess corrective actions in a follow-up audit.
Audit Report and Evaluation: After completing the audit, we provide a detailed report and assess your management system.
Certification Issuance: If certification is successful, you receive your IATF 16949 certificate, valid for up to three years.
Surveillance Audits: Regular surveillance audits ensure continued compliance with IATF 16949 requirements throughout the certification period.
Recertification: Before the certification expires, a recertification audit is conducted to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement of your management system.
